Is Marijuana any different than alcohol or anything else? There is no difference except for a few main points. When do you ever hear about someone dieing because of Marijuana usage. I certainly haven't but with alcohol and all those other drugs, that's a difference story. When hasn't there been someone who drank and drove; I know I have and its not a good thing but people die because of this all the time. With Marijuana you may drive, but you will most likely end up being too lazy to do so;well atleast from my experiences anyway.
What is really wrong with the green stuff? Many people may say it's a gateway drug, but how can a gateway drug also be a medicinal drug. Marijuana doesn't cause health problems, if it did then why would the Government grow its own marijuana for medicinal uses. It's also a drug that WILL NOT lead you to any other drugs at all.

ALL LEGAL DRUGS ................ 20,000
ALL ILLEGAL DRUGS .............. 15,000

The Government has the perfect set up to sell marijuana already. They could easily have an age restriction on it just like alcohol and tobacco. There could be a better chance of having better highways and other things, if the Government legalized pot and sold it.
So what is wrong with Marijuana? The answer is nothing at all. Legalize it!

Podcast
Well for my podcast assignment I'm thinking of doing something about living in BU Residence over the past Year. I plan on getting some clips from friends, roommates, and other people who have been in Residence for the past year. That is my idea so far.
Thats all folks.

Robotic Moustache
So my buddy Mo told me a week or two ago that I'm now an honorary member of Robotic Moustache. What is Robotic Moustache? Well it's one of his bands, but I'm not apart of that. I say it's more like a group of friends kinda deal. A group kind of for 'different people' I guess haha. But it was kinda weird how I got this membership. I managed to get a room full of guys to look at something hilarious that I was able to do on a videogame. Just incase you want to know, I managed to get two soccer players in a game to look like they were actually having sex and boy did it look funny. Well since Mo will be be moving to away very shortly, I will be taking over his radio show ( Robotic Radio) over during next school year. It shall be fun, and I'm quite excited about it.
Raped t-shirt
Some seem to be getting a little confused over this t-shirt. Its about giving a raped victim the courage to stand-up and talk about what has happened to them. It is not the victims fault that he/she has been raped and he/she should never feel ashamed to talk about it. Its a crime that seems to usually always go unheard, therefore we need to someone make the rapist feel ashamed and come out, and we need the victim to come out as well to talk about it. I personally think this shirt is a great way to try and get some courage to the victim and to make rapists everywhere feel uncomfortable.

Ed Gein
Well, a buddy by the name of Mo showed me this band one time called Ed Gein. So lastnight i wanted to listen to them and for some reason myspace doesn't work with BU Residence for some reason. Well I went to youtube to listen to them and came across this biography from A & E about this guy named Ed Gein, back in the 1950's. I thought I would talk about him since I thought it was quite interesting.
Ed Gein was a guy who lived in a small Wisconsin town. His family was really religous and his mother and a really short leash on him. Well Gein's family all eventually died on him so he remained living on the ruined down farm house. Gein was a very quiet guy who worked really hard for his money. Well eventually the people from this small town found out that Ed Gein murder two women from town. Police caught him but eventually discovered that there were many different bodies in the house and it turned out the Gein went to the local graveyard and dug up fresh graves. Police also found severed heads, bodies that were skinned. There were masks and leggings made from the human flesh, along with many other things made from various other parts of the human bodies. There was also a trend that all of these bodies were women and well you can put two and two together but just incase some of you who can't, Gein had his "way" with these women too. Gein did go to court for murder but was pronounce mentally insane and couldn't stand for trial. Well Gein was sent to a mental institution and a few years later he got put on trial. He was later pronounced guilty and was sentenced to live life in this mental institute. Well Gein's property and all other stuff was going to be auctioned off but his house burnt down. Gein died a few years (I believe it was a few years anyways) after this.
I do encourage you to check this out. There is 6 parts to this biography on youtube.com.
That is all for now folks.

Yet another one gone
Well today is yet another horrible day. But all of this can be expected with the end of the school year approaching. I've made many friends in residence this year and well, three friends of mine now gone.
The Saudi's left during last week, and I was rather sad that I couldn't spend more time with them on their last day here. These two brothers sure knew how to party, and we always down for a great time. In fact all of the times with them were great times. These two just recently moved to Victoria, British Columbia to continue with their schooling, so I would just like to send them the best of luck.
Also another friend just got kicked out of residence. Its a rather sad thing because I hung out with this guy quite a bit. I don't know where he is going to go but I know he will be alright anyways. I would also like to give this the best of luck in his future.
So this leaves us - us being the group of friends in residence - two less places to go and hangout in. As the Saudi's room and this other person's room were our main hangout points in residence. Where will we hang out now? Who knows but we are going to have to find one for the next three weeks.
That is all folks.

pennies
So I read an article about Canada going pennyless. But would it really make a difference? I don't think it will effect us in any way. Like really, when do you see someone use pennies? People would rather have their 'total' rounded up or down a few cents to make things easier. Also some may not even think about how much it would cost to make a penny, I know I never really thought about it until i read this article. So I say get rid of the penny, it's useless to us now!
That is all for now!
P.S. Here is a link to the article that I read:

Hope that the future doesn't turn out like the past
Well today we looked at this site in Media Writing 2 class and it had pictures of before and after death of a few cancer patients. Now I went through my one grandma passing away from cancer and that was a hard time for me to go through - probably because i was in grade 2 when it happened. My one memory of the whole thing that I went through from this experience is just before they lowered my grandma's casket I walked over there and held my hand of the casket and said my final good-bye. Boy did i ever cry then, I cried even more then than during the whole funeral and I cried a lot and i me A LOT during that funeral.
This death like tore the Sauer family apart. My grandma was the one who set up all family reunions and all that stuff like that. Now I don't even talk to my grandpa Sauer, I am sure he doesn't even know who I am anymore and we share the same birth date. Now I haven't seen my uncle, auntie and cousins - who live in Regina - for the longest time now. I hardly talk to my own God Parents who live 15 minutes from my home town.
But anyways my grandpa on my mom's side has been battling cancer for awhile now, and he would never go to the doctor before it and now he keeps asking to go when he has to! I have seen someone - especially him - go through so much pain. Like curling up on a couch hugging a pillow because his shingles were hurting so bad. For those of you who don't know, shingles is a sign of more cancer! That's what I personally saw during my past Thanksgiving break. I also saw him during the Easter break and he was more himself, tormenting the grandchildren as usual!
I just hope when he dies that he dies peacefully, and that that side of the family doesn't separate like the other side!
Now I am not sure if I should use this stuff for my Podcast assignment or if i should use a different idea i have. Maybe I will just keep it to myself and surprise everyone with.

One Red Paper Clip
I'm only doin this because Jill is making me do it.
I personally don't care about that one red paper clip. A guy trading a paper clip for things then eventually trading for a house, Whoopity Doo! Sure its KIND OF an interesting story I guess. Like how do you make horrible trades and then get a house in a small town.
So this guy used the internet to start everything off. It all basically had to do with him knowing one guy and that guy knowing a guy and then that guy knowing a guy and so on. Thats all it was I'm sure. That is just how its going to work if you use the internet i tell ya haha.
One red paper clip! I give it a whoopity doo.....

Yay for me
So this is my first blog ever. Big-woop is what I personally. Everyone knows me by nickname "Poo", and I mean EVERYONE. I have MasterCard phone me up at my moms place asking for 'Poo Sauers'. Like really, that's not even how you spell my last name but whatever.
Anyways this is my second year out of High School. My first year consisted of me working at a place called Venmar in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and well it was an alright job if you liked doing 'bitch' work, but whatever it paid the bills. Since then I moved East to Brandon, Manitoba to further my schooling. Infact i am sitting in my first class of the day in Media Production and I'm being made to do this. I only have a month left of my first year in this course.
How about some more info on my life? Yeah I know that your not interested at all but I thought I should write more.
In High School I played Bass in a couple of bands. I was in grade 11 when i joined my first band and we played a variety of shows. During the last few months of my grade 11 year I decided to leave my first band Truth Decay ( http://www.myspace.com/truthdecay ) to form another band with a co-work at the time. I also played bass in this band. We called ourselves Eitherside ( http://www.myspace.com/eitherside ). A year to just a little over a year after Eitherside began, we had to quit because of band members moving away. We also played a variety of shows which were great times of course.
But anyways, I will leave it at that!
Peace,
Poo
